Hmmm Alfa 156 Ipod connection advice

I'm currently looking at buying an iPod and wanted to know what would be the cheapest way to connect it to my 156's standard stereo and still maintain the steering functions?

I would like to be able to change tracks by the steering function.

I have a 2003 Alfa Romeo 156 JTS 2.0, with a standard stereo.

Re: Alfa 156 Ipod connection advice

Currently using alfa's own ipod connection , it uses steering controls and track changes , it doesn't say what album its on and only gives numbers, it uses yoiur playlist like a collection of albums in a cd changer but works fine . I use the ipod lead and store everything in the glovebox, although you could mount on a holder but then its visible if you see what I mean.
