"Sticky" 156 gearbox

Howzit all. I've a '01 156 V6 whose gearbox feels "sticky" (it feels little notchy and takes slightly more effort to change gears partcularly from 1st to 2nd) when cold. It only occurs first thing in the morning and disappears after only a few kays once the car warms up. Should I be concerned?
Also is the slightly creaky front suspension an issue in terms of safety? Having the wishbones replaced is a little expensive($800 in SA) Does anyone know of quick fix for this problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Your gearbox issue is nothing to worry about, it's just down to the cold metal and cold (so more viscose) oil
