Veloce to GTA shocks & Springs, then FSD's , should I?

On my 2.4JTD 20v I've got standard Veloce suspension which I find quite soft. Bearing in mind the shocks/springs are 100k miles old now, they are likely to be on their way out. I've got GTA shocks and springs from a 38k car sat in the shed at home.

Is there going to be much difference if I swap over the shocks/springs to GTA to give me better handling and firmer suspension?

In the ideal world I'd go for Eibach springs and Koni FSD's shocks, but I can't warrant spending out the money for the next few months.

I'd do the work myself over a weekend, so the labour costs shouldn't be a problem changing to GTA and then Eibach/Koni's in a few months or so. I just wondered if it's going to be worth changing to the GTA's prior to the FSD's?!

Thanks in advance,

If you are doing it yourself then it would be worth it to change for a few months. Just to see what its like really. I think it might still be a bit wallowy and crash over bumps though.

If the dampers and springs are complete units then it would obviously be quicker than swapping parts over.

I'd do it and see how you find them and then all the bolts etc will be freed up if you decide to replace with FSD's later
