Guys and Gals

Hope you can help

When i depress the offside rear window switch up and down i hear a click but i get no movement in the window, before i remove door card etc can anyone shed any light on this

I had the same issue when I brought my 156!....the problem could be one of two things...

1 - The window mechanism is seized - so you need to remove it and clean it and lubricate the window seals.

2 - The motor is seized - when I took my motors out, they were full of water. So I dried them out and cleaned them up a bit and they worked as good as new.

Make sure you clean everything properly, including the window itself. It will lower the resistance. Once it is all working, make sure you operate the windows once in a while to keep them active.
