Can somebody please check this for me???!
After my horrible kw suspension history, i have finally fitted the original springs/dampers again and have sold coilovers because they really ****ed up the excellent driving eperience... Although, with the original suspension fitted again, it's really not what it's was before the lowering... snik snik... Because the dealer doesn't take me serious, i have to search myself what is wrong.
On the top op the rear dampers of the car there are a sort of discs surrounded by rubbers, they are tightened by a bolt on the screw-thread on the damper extension. I know from experienced people that it's better they are not tightened too much because they have to move and adjust a little while driving. Now i noticed the dealer has tightened it as much as he can...
you guys possibly don't believe how much road be-havior changed after i loosened the bolts a bit.
Especially steering response became much better !! Also the ride seemed less harder.
Now, could someone please check what are the factory setting of this??
Are they set tight or is there some moving possible: in this case can you turn them around?
You can easily check this in the trunk of you car in a minute! Pull the pre-cut material away en pull out the isolation out of the hole and you can easily see and reach it...
