Urgent advice required

After putting a post on the site about the rear lights on my 156 staying on all the time they went off . After looking on E-bay for a new rev counter and not finding one i bit the bullet and paid 175 for a new one from Mango's . The problem i now have is the rear lights now come on for about 15 seconds.......and then fade out . Can anyone shed any light on this problem before i take it to the specialist.

Re: Urgent advice required

I think i'd look for a Automotive electrician rather than a Indie or dealer..
