I had an awful buzzing noise coming from the drivers side of the dash and it drove me mad. BUT, turned out it was actually a rattle coming from where the ceiling trim meets the windscreen. A bit of sponge stuffed into it and it was gone. For month my ears were convinced it was coming from the dash.
Next time it comes, test it by sticking your finges between trim and windscreen and see what happens?
Who knows it might be the same. wink </strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I had the same problem and I just pushed the ceiling towards the roof and it stopped. Somehow it wasn't in the right place or something.
I also had sort of a bad alignment problem of the ceiling where it meats with the passenger door. I put some Kleenex between the ceiling and the roof and it solved the 'problem'. I would love to see the face of the mechanic who removes the ceiling from the car
one day? Kleenex? And it's even used!
No, it wasn't used, really
