Dude, its the Mitchellins! 147/156s dont like em' and understeer, wheel spin and generally handle like poo on them, I think the compound is too hard.
As I wear through a set every 4-5 months I've tried a few, and can say with confidence Pirelli P Zero are the absolute best but most expensive, the Bridgestones that came from the factory were very good but a set of Continental Premium Contact 2s will transform the car.
I fit them on my 156 and my wife's 147 and both are sweet in the wet or the dry. Hope this helps pull your 147 out of the doghouse.
