I have question for anyone in the UK with a 156 of similar spec to mine.
My car is a yr 2000 2.0 litre with Sport Pack (added value in the region of £1000).
When I apply for insurance online, most companies' websites allow you to type in the vehicle registration. This usually returns "Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 (98on) TS 16v", but there is no mention of the Sport pack.
Should I declare the Sport pack wheels, sideskirts, and suspension as "modifications" even though they are factory-fitted original items ? Will my insurance be invalidated if I don't decalre them as "extras" ?
I was wondering if anyone else had come across this problem !

Most on-line insurance company only list 2 versions, the one you metioned or the Lusso. The sport pack seems to be considered as an option like the sunroof, etc. Bottom line, my 156 (and yours) is not a Lusso so by default you should choose the other !(cheaper!
BTW, where do you get your 156 serviced ? Happy with the service and prices quoted ???
