Re: Alfa GT Wheels...
The handling on the GT is a little surprising: it seems to wallow quite a lot through corners, but deflects really badly when it goes over any uneven areas/pot holes in the road. I took the car back to them to ask about this just after I bought it and was told that it was quite normal.. As it's second hand (2 years old), I do wonder if perhaps something's worn out under there somewhere, but the dealership demo car they let me try seemed relatively similar.
I'm driving a brand new 147 at the moment as a courtesy car whilst the dealership see to the infamous whistling from the passenger door (rehanging the door and new seals apparently), and the handling is totally different again.
How much approximately would you expect to pay for an Alfa dealer to supply/fit 18" Q2s? The wheels I've pictured above are £675 for the set, with tyres, and fitting (although I'd have to drive around London to get it done!), I thought that was on the cheap side?
