Looking forward to a reply Thanks.
as i said to the guy above the most clarions are not serial coded, but i can give you a code to try

and some that are serial coded have a label on that has 2 bar codes with a number below each.

heres the code based on the serial 1566

right for anyone with clarion radios, serial beginning CL

most of these are vin plate coded and NOT serial coded, so can only be reset by the dealer.

i can provide a code, but will not guarantee it works

its usually only clarions beginning with a C7000 code, thats on the bottom of the two barcodes (if you have the label with 2 barcodes on)

like this

Tried it that morning and no luck unfortunately. Also the code hasn't gone away and is still on the screen. Do you have any advice as to what to do?

oky .. sorry, I hurried and CD was in the trunk, I did not distinguish between the two codes. I'm waiting for your answer. I hope to be good code, because I received a code from the previous owner and was not good.

Hi Dani, you have exactly the same radio as me, same CL and PU9907-A, the only way you can get this working is to get in touch with Alfa. I phoned Bauer Millett in Manchester and their tech guy there took my reg. no and a few details, they have passed this info onto Alfa database who will email them the code tomorrow..( tues 1st sept ) and BM will phone me with the code. I have a feeling this is free as they have not asked me for any fee. Worth a try mate,,, as Alfared states: these are vin-coded and are linked to the ecu on your individual car. Good luck!
