Had a pssenger ride in a Focus RS

driven by a racing driver and..............he just thought its was "alright".The diff just means he can throw it everywhere and hang on and the car WILL NOT spin (ok so you can't defy the laws of physics but believe me,if you span that thing you should stick to Scalextric).

Great brakes and the special Michelins gave it some speed as well, but did it have character? not from where i was sitting it didn't.

Would I buy one over the 21k it cost me to get the 2ltr TS and tune it? not a chance a decattted Alfa engine at full throttle over a Quaife thing? you are having a larf

drivers being equal and on a slower track the Focus,Civic TR,my car,MINI S would not have much air between them, tyres being the biggest factor. (I would still be at the back but would sound better and would be last with style wink )

Well said mate

I saw top gear last night it was on there!

Loads of RS owners were there too and I certainly don't wanna be one of them maniacs

The car was impressive, yet that diff freaked me out and the car itself very much lacked any personality IMHO. I bet it sells loads, it is a ford after all

In a week my 147 will be even faster.... and for less money (and more "character")

Don't like the RS that much...
I think it's better to have a modified "one in a million" car.

yes they have Wrinx, its called "diff steer"

some new dampers/springs would sort it,but hey, they will be all bought be posers anyway

ps i do like the RS,its a f**king great car, doesn't set my boat on fire enough to buy one though.

Edna Mode!

I wouldn't buy one, because I simply just can't afford one. And that also counts for the 147 GTA
