156 variator or cambelt broken?
I have a 156, 1.8 t spark Lusso, 2001
Getting a ticking noise from the engine, sounds like a diesel and losing power. If i take battery off for a while the power returns to normal for a few hundred miles but then lose it again.
Thinking it must be the variator and may as well get cambelt done at same time right?
Just wanted to check its nothing else before i take it in.
anyone know a good place to take it near doncaster, south yorkshire?
what sort of price do u think this will be?
Cant get it in till end of next week. do u think it will last till then, dont want it to break before then? is it ok for me to continue driving it. I do 80mile a day.
