Just a quick one. Got a a new 156 with Bose. In the manual on the radio it mentions "sound profiles" or something like that. A facility to change from "pop" to "rock" to "classic" etc... The manual mentions it but no more. Anyone know how to access this?
HICUT is a function that auromatically lowers the volume of very high frequency sound bursts to protect your speakers.
Or this function is very sophisticated, or is doesn't work, because I never heard it kickin's in. I had an old Philips stereo years ago that had the same function and that was really crap (very slow in dapating volume back to normal).
I have a 147 with Bose. I know these options are supported for the bog standard standard cd/radio supplied, but not the Bose system. Probably the same for the 156 I would imagine.</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">This is true, sorry. In my manual it states that the presets like ROCK and POP are only available on the standard Bluapunkt system, NOT "needed" on the BOSE.
When you search for BOSE in this forum, you will find some other nice "features" of the BOSE
