156 handling

Hi, I recently bought a 156 tourismo jtd, and find the suspension a little on the soft side, with turn in a bit vague (for want of a better description). It is certainly a much softer ride than the wifes 147. The 147 is a Lusso riding on 16" wheels, where as the 156 on 15".

Whilst looking I test drove a veloce with 17's and although ti is difficult to tell from a test drive that felt firmer. Do they have a different suspension set up (spring/damper) or is it due tot he difference in Tyre side wall depth due to the smaller diameter wheels?

Re: 156 handling

The Veloce has uprated dampers and slightly lower springs than the Tourismo.

The bigger wheels would have made a difference too.
