Just got in to my 156 2.5 to discover that after my hols the battery has decided to go flat.
No problem, I thought, I'll pop down the road and get a new one.
When I opened the bonnet, however, I was confronted with a large diameter black pipe (air intake?) obscuring half the battery, and there also apears to be a polyprop strap holding the battery to the car with no visible means of releasing it.
I'm quite capable of changing the battery if I can work out how to remove the old one - can any one help, please? I really don't want to start unbolting things when I don't know what they do and risk damaging anything.
Any advice really would be appreciated.
It's all going to end in beers!
