I have not read the article as yet, but the headline figures are 7.6s (0-62mph), 155mph top speed and 31mpg average. This is very slightly slower than the 3.0, but a damn site more economical. £2,895 + VAT apparently.
Sounds like a perfect solution to the TS owner's dreams. The Italian market fitted a 2.0V6 Turbo into the 166, now that would be a gem of an engine. eek! Well, apart from the fact that it would be a highly tuned, blown italian engine with all the inherent reliability that this gives....
