156 Lowering Guide

Tried searching to no avail , looking for a guide to fitting lowering springs on the 156.

Nothing is real difficult ... however a few tips might help, use this link

How To... Change Upper Front Wishbone on an Alfa 147/156/GT

1/ For the Front shocks you need to mark their head mount alignment to the lower fork. Rear is no problem.

2/ Be very carefull with the type of tools you use for the removing the joint ball, otherwise you will spoil the head, one way could be to untight the nut but keep it on to avoid any damage.

3/ Use good a proper set of Alen keys ...

If you re alone ... and equpped ... it is still a long way to go especially if some bolts are seized ...
