Oh dear I'm sorry but yet another Sele-speeed question!
I have been the proud ower of a 147 (04 plate) for around a month now and I'm finding problems weekly, some maybe in my head but this latest one certainly isn't. I have the 2.0 lusso selespeed model and it changes up and down the gears without issue on both the auto- and the paddles. However yesterday I had a passenger in the car so didn't have my stereo on full blast, much to my surprise and I could hear a real loud clunk/crunchgrind when moving into 3rd or coming back down into 3rd. My passenger commented as well saying "now that just doesn't sound right " . There is no issue changing gears as it moves up and down correctly ,but as for the noise I'm really not sure what could cause it or how long that has been there as I always have my stereo very loud.
I also posted last week that my reverse couldn't be selected and again this happened today, I had my foot on the brake as someone mentioned last week and the only way it would select reverse was by being put into 1st then into reverse......... coincidence or totally different problem?
I have warranty on the car so I'm not that concerned, problem is that the car dealer is a long way away and will mean a day out from work so if not too trivial may be in my interest to fix locally if not too expensive.
Your thoughts appreciated
