Hey every one.

I keep hearing this term Alfadiag and not sure what it is. I have a laptop and would like ton know more info on the Alfdiag etc. I would wish to purchase this but do not know where to do so or what other items are required. Any advice would be welcom as I want to keep my lts Selespeed (2000 model) on the road and running as long as possible.

PS - am based just North of Aberdee if that helps for suppliers out with e-bay.

p.s. I have a 1999 selespeed with 122K on the meter and will keep it as long as possible (with the help of Alfadiag)

Re: Alfadiag

Get hold of a USB VAGCOM KKL cable ... loads on ebay from exotic places such as HK and China (where mine came from).

Then get the demo version of AlfaDiag to check the setup and connection with the car. When that works, and it only has limited functions (revs I think), by the licence and get the fully working version.

Like Rarebear I want to keep my 156 going for as long as possible without spending a future at dealers. AlfaDiag paid for itself with one problem as I had to reset the throttle idle actuator several times once. At up to £80 or more a time at a dealers to hook it to examiner, the £50-odd quid I paid for Alfadiag several years ago was a real bargain! And still is!

cheers, Gary
