Morning folks, I was looking for some help,
Got an 03 1.6 TS 147 Lusso. £44k on the clock.
A few weeks ago My cam belt went whilst driving, so a bill for £1300 was paid to get it fixed which was done well and back to normal, or so I thought.
1st morning after I got the it back The car made a noise like it was being strangled right after it started up, it only happens when the engines cold, and if I've been driving it and start it up it sounds normal.
Took it back to the Garage who said its nothing to do with them and its the starter motor, and would cost about £180 to get this fixed, but it wouldnt need it right away. (funny how it never made this noise before they had it in the garage for 2 weeks)
Then I needed 3 new tyres, so I got these changed drove it away and when I turn right theres a knocking sound, I took it back up and the guy said its the tracking thats out, is this right? and if it is how much will that be to get fixed?
And do you think I'm just getting strung along with this starter motor thing?
I'm very very green when it comes to the mechanical side of things so any help would be greatly appreciated, I love my Alfa but its doing my head in right now
