Autodelta will at last work on the cats

It turned out i had blown 2 of the 3 cats and apparently its not uncommon. They are being done on warranty and then i'm paying for a perfectly legal "cat bypass" (ie going straight through the buggers) for 200 ish. Will get improved throttle response, incease in power (a tad!) and an even louder exhaust, hurrah for last bit!

Nice one Dave.

I wish that Autodelta was here in Australia. I'd have a body kit, chip and full exhaust by now!

I went to a muffler specialist recently. He's known for getting more power through high flow systems for WRX's and Nissan 200sx's.

He laughed when he saw my Sebring Exhaust. He got a piece of metal rod, stuck it through the exhaust hole and it hit something. In other words, it was not a "straght through" exhaust.

One of his staff has a 147, they are going to design a package for the 147 PROPERLY.

Take the 147 to the Dyno, get readings, work from the back of the car forwards. He so far has designed a new straight through exhaust, he took it back to the dyno and WOW, they are stoaked. They got 10% more power JUST from a straight through exhaust/back box. Now onto the pipes and perhaps high flow cats... but in Australia it's impossible to ditch the cats, getting stricter on noise too.

It turns out that an Autodelta cat bypass is code for simply taking em off, which is fine by me

Sounds a bit miserable in Aus Justin, particularly when you consider the fine holdens that are being produced and getting arsey about noise in a country where each house is 2000 miles apart seems a bit ott!
