Re: 147 Glovebox handle
I had this problem on my 147 until recently, I read many posts on here in reference to it but the only solution appeared to be by an Italian Alfa dealer who drilled through the material on the back of the door located the screw and screwed it back in.
Well as I quite like the flush fit inside my glovebox (it looks quite neat) I didn't fancy wrecking it so I cam up with another idea and it works brilliant, even my 8 year old can't break it.
Your hadle does actually need to be completely off for this though, mine fell off after a few weeks.
So, go to your local B&Q or hardware store and get a tube of No Nail or a simular product such as Grips like Nails. Put this on the surfaces of the handle that come into contact with the front of the glovebox, you will see clearly when you hold them up to one another. Push in place and hold for 5 minutes, leave overnight to dry, it says 24hrs on the tube? And hey presto, one fixed and indestructible handle.
Hope this helps
