1of1 & Dave C,
Many thanks for your help. Got it working (FiatECUScan) and have been given the following code:
P1235 - Boost Pressure Signal - Signal High - Fatal - Light On
With the explanation:
The pressure in the suction manifold has exceeded the allowable threshold, possible breakdown in the relevant sensor. In case the engine is equipped with an overboost system (turbo or volumetric supercharge) problems concerning the functioning or the calibrations of the pressure and overboost adjusting valves can be present. The reason for this fault is that ECU has received very high signal from the sensor. The fault is present now. Take appropriate action to fix this sensor fault. Dashboard warning light was activated for this fault.
Any ideas what might cause this, what I can check, places to start etc? I'm not sure what various things are or where they are, but once find it am capable of checking, removing, fitting etc, I just need the details up front, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Many thanks, Rob.
