The V6 induction pipe is the collector pipe which leads into the standard air box. Once fitted, you will not see it. You could only use this with the standard or performance panel filter. It will not really increase power noticeably (none of them really do- they only give a slight increase), but should sharpen throttle response.
A full kit like the BMC will produce more incuction noise as it does away with the standard box. They are able to increase power output slightly more than a panel filter. I don't know if the gains are really noticeable, because the Twinspark doesn't need as much air as the V6. I think the gains may be more noticeable on a V6, noticeable on a 2.0, but not really wotrthwhile (apart from noise) on a 1.8 or 1.6.
BTW, I am back after visiting family for a week, and whilst away, my Pipercross Viper kit arrived- finally. I'll try to fit later. Certainly it is much more compact than the standard arrangement.
