Hmmm can a 2L 156 T Spark engine replace a 147 2L TSpark?

Hi my 147 T spark 2Litre blew up and seized on the open road last night and as it has already had a rebuild due to a broken cambelt prior to my ownership I would prefer to put a 2nd hand engine in than rebuild again - also my cost effective. I am in NZ and these are hard to find but I have been told a 156 2 litre T spark is the same engine and there is one available can someone confirm this and provide advice on a way forward.

Yes, one for one. Just the torque setings on the cambelt pulleys are slightly different, but if you go by the higher 156 limit then they are within the 147 tolerence.

The sensors though do vary a little, just swap them over from the old lump and things will be OK.
