Forget about the new Primera Flanno. We've just had a few in my job here on trial, as use and abuse pool cars.
Yeh, have to admit, when I saw them first saw them I thought - well at least they've put a bit of effort into it.
But wait until you drive them. The interior is unbelievable badly made. And I thought nobody could equal Alfa Romeo on that front - especially the japs.
Most of the plastics are straight from an airfix kit. The instruments, while a nice try, are the cheapest of the cheap and simply too far away from the driver for any sort of contact. The gear knob is the width of the indicator stalks on my Alfa. The plastic surrounding it, and the oddment space, is video box stuff.
The door trim moves in your hand and rises in a slope over the window - what a dust collector!.
As for the ceiling trim. It's the same as they use in Nissan delivery vans!
And rattles? Incredible. Hate to see one when it's gok 30k on the clock. It seems the designer knew exactly what he wanted, but production costs have churned out this cheapo
And all this from the company they brought us the legendary and simply inforgettable Bluebird! He he he.
