I have been there and done that.
There are no auxillary inputs available on the 147 head units. So there is no point trying to find a cable.
The only option is to get an FM modulator (preferably wireless but hard to find over here in the UK), connect the MP3 player to it and tune your radio to the frequency it transmits.

Dr Snuggles,

Blaupunkt has indeed a MP3 player with a 1 Gb "harddisk", but until today I have never read/heard about it working with the Alfa 147 radio. I would love it too!

Doesn't an FM modulator sometimes give poor result, because it isn't actually digital ?

The factory head unit has not a line-in AUX connector. Actually it has a line-in which is used by the external CDcahnger but it needs some tricks to be activated which is not advisable.

The Blaupunkt hard drive MP3 player is incompatible with the Alfa head units although it uses the same protocol (must be something with file-folder structure). This was feedback from local Blaupunkt dealer.

The FM modulator is ....just one more radio station! You will listen to your favourite cds but with radio quality. Not worthed IMO.

Either you stick with a Blaupunkt CD changer or you change the head unit.
