147 sillyspeed alternator swap

ok so found out our whine was alternator bearings, won another on fleabay and was wondering what they are like to fit?

I'm not bad at working on thing but it looks mega tight in the engine bay. Also can't Find anything showing how to do it? I got the Alfa software but it's pretty lacking in descriptions.

I'm hoping it's not as big a jon as the Fiat Coupes are.

Re: 147 sillyspeed alternator swap

I also need to recon the alternator bearings. I think the whole engine has to be mounted forward to be able to take it out. Mechanic job it seems. Any1 know for sure. Mine is a manual JTS. Any1 else know for sure procedure for getting at it?
