Rubbery ride

I've just been doing wishbones on two 156s, and afterwards, I thoiught the one with new lower wishbones had less of a rubbery ride quality about it. I think the spring and damper effectiveness has been improved because the horseshoe bracket at the base of the suspension is acting through a brand new bush. I have noticed similar improvements on other cars when renewing the damper top mounting (strut suspension). Anyone else noticed this?
