Get a written quotation from your dealer listing the parts to be replaced and full breakdown of parts costs/labour etc. Don't do anything until you get this. If it's just upper/lower wishbones and he verify's that the right side is ok then fair enough, but if the front shock absorber is involved than really both should be replaced at the same time. Do get quotes from elsewhere, particularly (but not soley) from an Alfa specialist. It's good to get a second opinion anyway.
You will be surprised at the horrendous mark-ups at the dealers and the savings that can be made elsewhere. Good luck.
