Re: 156 wont start - fusebox?
Heres the latest from over the weekend - engine starts well from cold, but needs a slight prod on the pedal to clear its throat & idle well. The injector warning light sometimes stays off, but typically comes on.
If engine is warm or hot then takes more cranking, around 10 seconds, but it is a fast cranking speed without actually firing, suggesting maybe the timing is off slightly - crank sensor as noted already? When it fires theres plenty of white smoke initially from unburnt fuel.
However occasionally both radiator fans roar into life at a low temp, suggesting faulty temp sensor, where do I find this? Note gauge climbs steadily to 80-90 after about 5 mins running, fans typically come in at 70, but occasionally much lower.
Any comments appreciated, otherwise its booked to the Alfa garage later in the week.
