Stef, thanks for the tip but I aleard done it, I decided today that I would go to my two local Car Suprmakets to see what stock they had in. First time ever I have seen a red leather seated Alfa at a car Supermarket. In fact between the two stores they had two with red leather.
The two models they had were Fire Black and a greeny kind of colour which I belive is not Gem green but Platiunum Grey both with red seats. You would think this greeny - red combination would look Uuuurgh but it actualy worked well. So I thougt if it works with this colour then it must work with Gabby Blue.
Having looked at the two cars and got the picture of how red leather looked stamped into my memory. I approached a Gabiano Blue model and projected my memery of red leather seats onto the black ones which were in the car. Man, it's just gonna works so well. This is defintely what I am having and I have put in a preliminary order and will get a build date next week (not through the car supermarket but through Smart Alfa).
Finally the red leather I just saw is defintely like the ones I saw in the GTV I mentioned in another post. They are defintely in the flesh er.... skin, darker than Johnny's pics. Maybe it's the Gamma/Contrast on my monitor but the seats were defintly closer to those in the pic I posted at the top of this thread. So I will be very happy with them.
My only gripe is I wish Alfa had dome something to add a bit more of the leather elsewhere in the cabin. Like the GTV and 166 where you gt panels of leather in the door and the carpets have some matching trim. Makes it seem like they were really supposed to be there.
Fianlly folks, I'm sorry for all the questions on colour schemes. I will lay the colour debate to rest. Amen I hear you all say.
Right now back to getting my website finished.
