156 needs repairs

Hi Eveybody,i have bought a 156 bonnet wont open.Also what temp should water be at.It stays at 90.
Also there is a leak either from exhaust or manifold.Is it cheap repair.

temp should stay at 90

exhaust can be expensive, you will need to have a good look and check to see which part you need, ebay is a cheap source for 2nd hand exhaust parts

someone else may be able to help with the bonnet catch, ive never come across that problem before

Exhaust could be the flexi section at the end of the downpipe. It isn't separate, but I've read somewhere that a Citroen part will fit, but it's a welding job. Or you simply replace the front section from the exhaust manifold to the cat.

As for the bonnet, try pulling the catch with someone pressing down on the bonnet, if that doesn't work try pulling the catch with someone pulling up on the bonnet. Probably the bonnet catch is out of alignment, or it is all gunked up and not moving.
