Man, I have to disagree....I too have the Remus fitted, but my system is really quiet in the cabin. As I have mentioned before, I hear the deep bass of the exhaust from idle up to about 4000RPM, but any further up the rev range, and the sound of the engine overpowers the exhaust.
Do you think it may be because of the difference in our engines????
Could be. But I have noticed that with our exhaust systems, with the window rolled down:
idle to 3500rpm: "average" engine/exhaust sound
3500 to 5000rpm: quite a loud and deep noise (very nice actually)
5000 to 6500rpm: the loud noise is there but there is a turbo-like whistle
6500 to 7200rpm: "Oh **** think about the fuel consumption and the rev limitter...!!!
Overall, I do like the Remus exhuast we have fitted bnoth in noise and looks, but a turbo kit is what would make me extatic with the 147... money permitting of course...
