Hello mate - a nice lady (keeping with the respect vibe here) went into my Blackline in February doing 50 mph (estimated by the Rozzas) whilst texting. I was stationary in a queue of traffic, she pushed me into the car in front (a Merc, she was in a BMW so not lightweights by any means) and then pushed me and the Merc 6 feet until she veered off, sped down a driveway and into a concrete post, she only stopped when the wheels were no longer in contact with the ground due to her being on top of the post, she says she froze on impact, with her foot firmly planted on the go pedal in an automatic car
My GT looked destroyed
and despite the fact i could hardly move due to having a torn trapezium, which is basically whiplash plus, my biggest pain was the site of my poor bella being dragged onto a low loader about 18 inchers shorter than she should be.
Anyway - after 12 weeks away and coming within a hair's breath of a write off and after pleas to the insurers, she came back to me absolutely perfect, the repairer himself delivered her back and he said he had bestowed all his love on nursing her to life which was clear to see - top man
however, in the back of my mind i know that I was very lucky indeed, i had a very painful injury and it still isn't right. Our cars are important - especially our beloved Alfas but "Il sangue non é benzina"
You'll get her sorted mate and then you should take your dad out in a real car.
