Re: GT reliability

I've getting close to 97k miles and she's sweet with a few non-engine related niggles. Last week I drove to Germany and back without a hiccup. If I take care of my Bella I'm sure she'll keep delivering the goods for a long time to come.

Re: GT reliability

Hello all Expatantigua is back ! Merry Xmas and a good New Year to one and all.
Alfa Customer service has been good BUT the garage 'saga' took on yet another twist!
First the "good news": Alfa paid for the complete replacement of the tappet array (1,500 in parts alone! No 23 broken) & whilst ferreting around in my late 2005 3.2 GT found that the radiator was badly corroded & replaced that too. Many thanks.
Now the "bad news": My garage had replaced all the disks and pads as part of the service. Despite complaining that I had little or no hydraulic pressure - off I drove (silly me!) - back to the garage the next day. Two days later (faulty automatic bleed machine) drove off to Birmingham. Took the car back to garage to again complain about loss of hydraulic pressure. Up on the ramp - brake fluid leaking from the caliper!!! Threeweeks later [!]- after a new master cylinder, caliper and solenoid (all 'free') it now works.
I will not be using this garage again!
I will separately wqrite to Alfa to tell them.
