Well, my problem is a little bit diferent from the thread's above, let's see if i can explain how it goes:
My 147 1.9 JTD 16V has now 5 years (i've changed the 2 belts, tensors and water pump last saturday), and until then (well, a couple of days erlier...), when the water temperature gets to 90º, it never moves from there, even in the roughest conditions!
At the moment, the car hits 90º (at the same time than before, dosen't take more time to get it) and it gets always there as i have the foot on the accelarator. When i take of the foot, to low the speed or to get a gear down, according to the gauge, the temperature gets down to +-85º! When i accelarate again, the temperature rises again to 90º!
Today, I've questioned the dealer about the issue, and he tolds me that everything is normal and ok, that he as a 156 1.9 JTD 8V and only gets to 90º in traffic!! I asked about the price of the thermostat (98.00€ + VAT
) but he said me not to buy because i don't need it!! If it was a lie then he have tried to sell me the thing, don't you agree??
After i read the all threads i simply don´t know what to do, i'm thinking to hold on the change to see what happens...
