Yes i know this has been asked a thousand times in the past and i am fully aware of all the 147/156/gt suspension "issues".
Since i owned my car from day 7 ish, the underside of the car started clonking. Very quiet at first and progressivly got lowder over the past 2.5k miles. First inspection revealed that both backbox support rubbers were well worn and broken up. I replaced these this weekend but it made no difference.
Currently my front wheels sound like this:
When hitting a sudden bump (speed bump, pothole) at low speed (7mph) the front drivers wheel makes a sudden "screech" or scraping noise. every bump or unsmooth surface causes the front end to make constant knocking noises. All noises sound like they are coming from the front driver side wheel.
Can anyone pinpoint exactly which component of my front suspension is dodgy?
