Wave Sport pack trim - how to tell?

Fellow alfisti,

Time has come for the 155 to go and a 156 to come.

Thinking of an '04 or later JTS, which in Italy seems to be sold either equipped with the Progression or Distinctive trims. As far as I understand, Distinctive always comes with leather, so that should be easy to tell. But how can you tell a 156 is a no-sport pack, or SP1, 2 or 3 though?

Also, I expect the quality to be superior to my '96 155 - except for the TwinSpark which was a true gem, I expect equality there - especially for the electrics... The 155 had a faulty ground on the main fuse panel, dysfunctional window switches, failing temp probe track on the ECU , cables literally eaten up in the trunk. Yay or nay?

Re: Sport pack trim - how to tell?

Don't know about Italy, but in the UK they stopped using the "Sportpack" referance in early 2000.

So a 2004 car will never be a "Sportpack"
