I have had my 147 for just over 12 months now and have done a bit more than 27,000Km.
I changed the oil at 10,000Km just to be safe (considering the way I drive - Aggressive and sports style) and I never touched it again until the service at 20,000km.
Since the service, I have done about 7,000Km and I took a look at the oil level on Wednesday morning before going onto the race track with the 147, and all was OK.
After a whole morning's HARD driving, I checked the oil again, and no problem.
I would however, recomend that you at least check the oil level every 5-10,000km just to be safe. Depends on your driving style as well.
A 147 is the Alfa and the Omega of all. www.ricojfdd.net
