Drove around the Hunter Valley today.....in the space of 10 minutes came across 2 other 147's......one silver (owner waved), another ?black....owner gave very enthusiastic honk and wave.......WAS IT ANYONE HERE?.....and who said Alfisti were an unfriendly lot?
Nope, definitely not me!
I wish it was me out there though, with my 147, I could do with some of that fine Aussy weather.
Here in "Sunny" Blackpool it has been persistantly raining all day.
BTW. Who did actually say Alfisti were an unfriendly lot, I'll kick their teeth in if I find them!! (Thats a joke Tony!)
I am new here. I just picked up my Africa Grey 147 Selespeed last Wednesday. Driving to the Blue Mountains for a drive I waved to two 147 drivers (Black and Silver both around BroadWay) and one on the way back (Black again around Randwick). This is my first Alfa and I can tell you I never had anyone wave to me in my previous car a Honda Civic. Its all good owning an Alfa
I'm a mature 147 owner and I wave, especially to other 147s. And they do wave back in Canberra too. Other types Alfas are less likely to wave. Perhaps 147 owners are even more enthusiastic about their cars then other Alfas :-)
