No Pud, I changed the pipe with them on, but changed it back as there was no disernable difference, I used a corrugated induction pipe of Ebay, I was hoping that I could smooth out the bends, and eliminate the res. boxes, but it did nothing...
Of course doing that with a std. filter and airbox may mean the items offering the most resistance were still in place.
When you said you stuck the intake straight onto the TB you would have had perfect laminer airflow, that is to say every (tight) bend you put in slows down the air by causing "eddies" in the air flowWhere the air is caught up in the corner and swirls around on itself and reduces the effective diameter if the pipe...
So really its a case of sorting the filter 1st for me, then looking at induction pipes...
