Re: dodgy gauges
Do NOT rely on fuel gauge on any car. Use the trip meter. Fuel, reset and refuel when you are getting close to the tank's range.
On my 2.0 TS I get 350 miles of town driving so I refuel when it gets to 330 ish.
Temp gauge also reads below real level. Connect it to AlfaDiag to get the ECU reading of the temp.
This can be down to just a faulty gauge though. Been told by an Alfa specialist that it can be just the matter of the sprin connected to the dial that is either too loose or too tight (can't remember which).
Sounds mad but wasn't in a position to argue.
