Just to add my comments guys.
The 1st/20,000km service at my local agent is around £160.
What do they do on the 1st service ? - not a lot.
Change the oil and filter, check tyres, brakes, suspension and bearings, check the paintwork and thats it, oh, and change the pollen filter (thats £28 extra).
No changing spark plugs until 100,000km, and not even a plug into the diagnostic centre.
It a real easy DIY job except for checking the paintwork to maintain your warranty, but I believe that this can be done by the dealers for half an hours labour charge (£25-£30).
DIY and make a better job of it. Cost will be about £40 for oil and oil filter, not sure of the price of the pollen filter.
But certainly, you can easily do it yourelf and save over £100, perhaps enough to get some lowering springs!!! Now there's a thought.....
