As you said only time will tell. All I hope is that the UK market does get it's much needed kick up the arse and we the British buying public get a better deal like our European neighbours.

Then maybe I'll bet able to afford a next generation GTV V6 without having to import it myself [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

There is nothing on the V5 to say its an Import. Even my service book is the UK one with a UK dealer stamp on the PDI.
Nothing on the car says its not a UK sourced car.
The only thing I did get was the EU letter of conformity that was required to register the car in the UK.

If I was to sell it privatly I would tell the buyer its an EU import, if I sold it to a dealer [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] if he doesn't ask!!! [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Naughty boy!!

My V5 for my Ducati is exactly the same - there is absolutely nothing different about it at all.

A word of warning tho' about not declaring to a dealer. I don't know if it's the same with AR, but BMW can do a VIN check, and if a car is not registered by BMW GB, the chassis number shows up as "not listed".
