Airco blows exhaust fumes?
Maybe the subject header sounds strange, but I had this very strange experience with my Bella last weekend:
I was cruising along in my Bella. My girl friend was with me in the car. I was cruising on the highway, with no traffic in front of me. I adjusted the airco fanspeed a little higher and suddenly this horrible smell entered the interior of my poor Alfa 147. I can only describe the smell as rusty. Then the interior got misty (light blue smoke) and my girl friend became a little bit dizzy and she and I couldn't breath well (it sounds more dramatic, but still the smoke was there!), so I instantly opened all the windows and switched the airco off.
Since then everything is fine. I tried the airco a couple of times and nothing was wrong. Yesterday I went to my dealer and explained the situation, telling him that in my experience it looked like exhaust fumes entered my car through the airco (and no hadn't had the recirulation on and there was no traffic in front of me), but the mechanic couldn't find any leak in my exhaust or any airco fluid leaking or any leaking at all. Then I drove a few miles with the mechanic sitting with me in the car, begging for the problem to arise so he could understand what I mean and (and he would have probably being killed by the smell! ).......NOTHING! Just like when you'have a terrible headache and you go to the doctor and you suddenly feel well!
Anyway, the mechanic told me to come back whenever the problem arises again (if I survive the smell ).
I have no explenation for this, but I hope someone of you guys hadn't had the same experience, but might tell me what could be the problem. Weird story hey!

I don't need no one to tell me about heaven, I look at my son and daughter and I believe.
