Not been on any Alfa track days yet but have been to loads of Scooby track days.
You will need track day insurance, a scoobynetter hit the tyre wall at Donnington last year £9000 of uninsured damage. not nice.
Tyre pressure is critical we run as much as 42psi in the Scoob.
An average track day will take about 6000 miles out of your tyres and brakes, if you realy go for it you will destroy them completely.
Most of all change your oil after each track day and think about changing it before as well if its been in a while.
Best advice, you have nothing to prove, enjoy the day and take it steady at first.
