As the sad recipient (I think its sad now) of an autoglym award for a concours condition vehicle in 1993 - I still think they are the best for polish and resin polishes, although the white powder on dark cars is very irritating.
Their tyre finising and wheel cleaning stuff is crap compared to most others and not worth the money. The shampoo is mediocre - the expensive stuff Halfords sell in green bottles (might be turtlewax or simoniz) that is quick drying is fantastic, it drys fast, leaves no white marks or streaks and is reasonably water resitant on its own when dry so if you havent got time for a full valet, you can wash & go!
The important thing with the resin polish is leave the ordinary layers you put on first (two is good 2 hours apart), for 24 hours, then apply the resin coat. Of course you need a garage and a car cover to get the best from this, but the longevity and shine are increased by 50% if you can be bothered.
Does anyone enjoy cleaning cars? I love it it makes me forget everything but what I'm doing.
