disconnecting battery + rear electric window problem

I've got a flashing odometer which previous posts have suggested can be fixed by disconnecting the battery for 15 mins. Is there any risk in doing this?

Also, my rear electric windows don't work at all, any ideas wot this could be? Is it likely to be a fuse?

I've got a 2.0 147 on a 51 plate by the way!

Re: disconnecting battery + rear electric window problem

there's no risk in disconnecting the battery

you'll only need to disconnect the negative terminal.. iirc it's a 10mm spanner, just undo the nut slightly and the terminal should lift clear of the battery no problem
